“Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy!’ – Jesus

The ‘School of Mercy and Truth’ captures one of the most profound themes of Jesus’ ministry. He was overflowing with both mercy and truth. ‘Hesed va Emet’ is the Hebrew term embedded deeply in the Jewish consciousness but almost entirely absent in the Christian consciousness. ‘Hesed’ addresses our heart formation in personal spirituality, while ‘Emet’ addresses the formation of the Christian mind. Blending these two elements in spiritual formation becomes the goal of every disciple. This is the ideal combination of left-brain and right-brain development. The left brain is informational, while the right brain is relational. King David said, “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. The humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth.” (Psalm 25:4,9,10) Many throughout history have had truth without mercy, and nowadays, it is becoming increasingly popular to advocate for mercy with little regard for truth. The divine synergy of hesed va emet, modeled exquisitely in the life of Jesus, shows us the pathway for our growth. This course is for everyone who desires deep spiritual formation in the imitation of Christ.

Module Four:

Participating in the Mind of Christ [Part Two]

Duration: 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings
Two sessions per evening. [8 hours in total]

The highest privilege of the sons and daughters of God is to participate in the mind of Christ. But the mind of Christ is an expression of the heart of Christ, and the call to abide in His heart is the precursor to the great privilege of participating in the glorious mind of Christ. In the second and final installment of this series, Phil Mason will continue to guide you on an incredible journey into the heart and mind of Christ. Participation in this series is guaranteed to be a journey of powerful spiritual formation as we focus on the Living Word of God and His transformational worldview. Over four consecutive Tuesday nights, Phil will lead you into a fresh, revelatory encounter that will change how you think and feel. Here are the concluding eight sessions of this course:

Module Five:

The Heavenly School of Hesed

Duration: 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings
Two sessions per evening. [8 hours in total]

The focus of this course is discipleship in the heavenly school of hesed. Hesed is the unfailing, loyal devotion of the Father toward His children. In the thought world and spirituality of King David, hesed became front and center. He bathed in both the revelation and experience of the hesed of the Father, and it became part of his transformational journey. In Psalm 23, it was because of the Father’s great hesed that he could say, “He restores my soul!” (Psalm 23:3). “Surely goodness and hesed shall follow me all the days of my life!” (Psalm 23:6)
For David, it was the glory of kings to search out a matter. David was granted a prophetic glimpse into the heart of God as a prelude to the coming of the Messiah King and His mission to implant hesed in every heart. In David’s inner world, those who marinate their hearts in the glory of hesed become the ‘hasid.’ They are the holy ones or the ‘merciful’ who train their hearts to marinate in hesed until it transforms them from the inside out. At the height of David’s kingship (before his tragic fall), he was tasked with the mission of stewarding the revelation of hesed. In this way, he became a prophetic type of Christ, and the Tabernacle of David became a prophetic type of the church where heaven’s hesed was celebrated and praised. This series is a prophetic call to recover the lost mysteries of the Hasid of God.

Module 1

Healing from Generational and Strongholds

This course is intended for believers in Jesus Christ who are committed to experiencing God’s healing power. Christians believe that God can heal generational wounds and break cycles of negative behaviors. However, some remain sceptical about “curses” or “strongholds” being passed down through families. Many of us who have moved in Jesus’ ministry believe otherwise, as we have seen sickness and many issues connected to our inheritance in the Spirit.
Generational healing brings breakthroughs to unresolved issues, traumas, and negative patterns within a family history that can continue to affect subsequent generations.
God desires to heal family and generational wounds, addressing issues that can come from family breakdown, unresolved grief, abandonment, abuse, anxiety, fear, worry, lust, greed, pride, stubbornness and trauma. It can also come from being exposed to disasters and geographical traumas.
The healing process for this “inheritance” is activated by our repentance and the cleansing of our hearts, whereby these “inroads” have power or access. This course is designed to equip participants to recognise generational trauma and bring healing to their bloodlines.

THE GLORY SCHOOL

The glory is so extraordinary that it must be seen as the most significant thing we go after! The church’s responsibility is to make heaven visible, felt, and known. Theologian Stephen J. Nichols once said, “At the center of God’s revelation is glory. Glory then becomes a sort of theological shorthand to encompass and communicate all that He is. Glory is also the end goal of human beings.”
This is where it all begins and, of course, where it finishes. Glory should be the start, the process, and the end of our lives and communities. Peter said to the saints who were being persecuted for their faithfulness to the Lord: “The Spirit of Glory and of God rests upon you.” (1 Peter 4:14) Isaiah prophesied that the glory of God would come ‘upon’ the New Testament people of God!
“Arise, shine, For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.  See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you.”  (Isaiah 60:1,2)
In this course, we will study and learn about hosting and releasing the glory of God! This is the inheritance of the saints!
