Maria is a pastor and prophetic voice who lives to see the church become free in God’s presence. Together with her husband Phil, they pioneered Tribe Church, a community in the region of Byron Bay, Australia. Phil and Maria are the senior leaders and part of an amazing team. She speaks around Australia and other nations about church culture, relationships, leadership, prophetic ministry, worship, heart healing, and community. Her passion is to equip leaders to live from the heart on the frontline of battle!
Maria has published two books on community. The first was “The Glory Community: Building Heaven’s Culture on Earth”, which is designed to inspire the church to live in God’s glory as His community on Earth. The sequel to that book is: “The Glory Community: The Beauty of Heaven on Earth.”
Her most recent book, “The Heart Prophet—A Manual for Feelers, Seers and Heart Restorers,” was published in 2023. She has also pioneered a diagnostic tool for teams and individuals called Heart Mapping. Maria runs two prophetic schools in Australia (one is local, and the other is an online school). She is an ordained pastor in the Crosslink Network and is one of the founding members of the Australian Prophetic Council.
Maria and Phil have been married since 1983 and have four adult children, plus a son-in-law and daughter-in-law and four grandsons. When she is not ministering, Maria finds joy in spending time with her family, renovating her house, and tending to her garden.
